Darsana is the oldest of the six philosophies of Bharat that follow the Vedas
as their authority. The present edition of Sankhya Sutras comprises Sanskrit

(liberation) of the soul.

not believe in Him as the material cause, as is believed by most of neo-Vedantists
and neo-Sankhyas. According to Sankhya, prakarti
is the material cause.
